Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and based in New York City, Nicolle is a Queer multidisciplinary artist establishing a body of work as an actor, director and filmmaker.
Recent work as an actor include: supporting role in Sonia by Eva Depoorter, lead role in Dawn by Nona Catusano, supporting role in El Extraño de la Casa Rivera by Esteban Bailey, lead role in Aurora by Alina Rancier, supporting role in Leda by Samuel Tressler, lead role in Soft Breath by Fumiya Hayakawa, principal work in La Negra by Raquel Almazan staged at BRIC House, and lead role in the play BURNED by Alejandra Ramos Riera staged at Pregones/PRTT directed by Jorge Merced.
Filmmaking projects include: directorial work in “City of Silence” (2020), “Ava” (2022), “Thank You” (2024) and “Ana Macho: The Caribbean Pop Star” (2025); editing work in music video “Acuerdos” (2023) by Audry Funk, and production and editing work in “Hasta en la Luz” (2024) by Valeria A. Avina.
Nicolle’s lens as a filmmaker focuses on stories of sorts where societal systematic defaults are challenged and put in conversation through intersectional themes that highlight the beauty and complexity of identity, emotions and human relations.
Nicolle is a graduate of The Graduate Center (CUNY) with a Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies; Hunter College with a Master’s Degree in Theater; the Acting Conservatory at the Escuela de Formación Actoral (EFA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Florida International University with a Barchelor’s Degree in Media Communications with concentration in Photography.
